Luton design is a small design firm which focus on commercial design project national wide. We are seeking a Junior level Draftsman position (CAD) for a commercial design team located in Parramatta. The role involves issuing full set construction drawing based on the 3D concept issued by team member, the work environment is very efficient and requires high level of professionalism, as we dealing with a great volume of projects at one time.


Duties :
As a draftsperson, you will:
• Experienced with producing full set construction drawings base on Australian standards.
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Designers, Engineers, Council and clients to translate design concepts into CDC / DA / CC drawings
• Can work in 3D modelling (Sketch Up software preferred) and rendering if required
• Liaise with assigned consultants, suppliers, or local councils.
• Selection of fixtures and finishes compliant to BCA standards.
• Be self-motivated to provide solutions when communicating to others.
• Team Player is essential
Skills and Experience:
• MUST be proficient in AutoCAD.
• Can use Sketch up for 3D modelling if required
• Experience in working in Commercial and Hospitality projects. Construction drawing and portfolio required
• Advanced Dip or Bach degree in Interior Design.
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas in drawing and writing.
