We are currently seeking a Junior Estimator to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in our projects, responsible for the following key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Estimate material quantities, define project requirements, scope of work, and fulfill client requests.
2. Initiate and manage purchase orders with suppliers, diligently following up on deliveries.
3. Calculate Bill of Quantities and prepare precise quotations and mark-ups for projects.
4. Administer variations to contracts.
5. Effectively manage files and documentation.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills and qualifications:
1. Proficiency in reading and interpreting building plans, identifying product needs, and ensuring meticulous attention to detail for compliance.
2. Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in all tasks.
3. Sound knowledge of software tools such as Excel, Adobe Acrobat,and database systems.
4. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
5. Proven ability to multitask, prioritize work, and thrive under pressure to meet deadlines.
6. A positive and proactive attitude contributing to a collaborative work environment.
7. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
8. Preferably a Mandarin speaker.
9. Hold a bachelor’s degree in the construction industry.
10. 1-2 years of working experience.
