General IT support/Admin officer
One of fast-growing coaching schools in Melbourne is currently looking to employ a campus “Admin officer/General IT support” to join our professional team.
About the Role
This position is Admin officer with a focus on general IT support. It calls for an energetic, positive, and fast pace person who is capable of working on different tasks simultaneously. Working ina busy and dynamic office, the selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide general IT support (both hardware and software) to the campus office.
- Talking to customers to determine the nature of any problems they encounter
- Installing, configuring, troubleshooting hardware, software, systems, network devices.
- Monitoring and maintaining office IT systems and networks on both S/W and H/W.
- Design the related user guideline and provide training to internal and external customers.
- Develop software script /Macros to improve office information automating.
- Communicate with customers effectively at the front desk, managing customer relationships through phone calls/ emails, with strong message handling skills.
Become the course consultant, handling customer queries, complaints and other issues:
- Process student enrolments, cancellations and updating records
- Teaching Assisting – Preparing teaching schedules, class rolls, textbooks, provide Ad-hoc support to teachers
- General administrative duties such as word processing, data entry, filing, photocopying, calendar management, stationary management, maintaining student records, and updating database)
- Logistic management (checking inventory, maintaining campus clean environment)
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing ad-hoc projects as needed, for example, marketing
- Provided-hoc support to the campus manager when required
Candidate Essential Credentials
You must :
- A pleasant and professional customer service manner and are able to deal with a high volume of tasks during the peak hours in the campus environment.
- Strong IT sense and broad knowledge in hardware and software applications, and a quick learner in IT applications.
- Have an excellent command of the English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written.
- Pass the “Working with Children Check” assessment.
- VISA Condition: PR
Other Credentials:
- Be proactive in both working and learning.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up.
- Excellent communication skills, strong customer service mindset, and skill
- Strong organizational and time management skill, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, dependable and a team player.
- Proficiency in software applications including Microsoft Office, Wechat and Facebook
- An ability to problem-solving and deal with a high workload environment.
- Qualifications working experience in Education or IT is an advantage.
- Have prior experience working in a busy administrative role or IT general support would be an advantage
