Job Description:
WZW Construction is seeking an experienced and motivated Contract Administrator to oversee and manage all aspects of contract administration for our construction projects. Reporting directly to the Project Manager and Senior Contract Administrator, you will ensure contracts are managed effectively to support project delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Administer progress claims, variations, extensions of time, and other contractual obligations.
- Liaise with project teams to ensure compliance with contractual terms and project timelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and records.
- Assist with procurement activities, including tendering, evaluating bids, and preparing subcontractor agreements.
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Manage risk and resolve disputes with subcontractors and suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., AS 2124, AS 4000).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management and construction software.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
