Motivated, energic and self-driven Great opportunity to be involved with an experienced management team at the early stages of an RTO – build and shape the recruitment strategy based on your years of experience and skill in international student recruitment.
We are a new RTO delivering courses to international students in a Sydney CBD location.
We are seeking a full-time International Student Recruitment officer. The primary responsibility of this role is to rapidly expand student enrolments and development of key stakeholder networks.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager/General Manager, the overall focus of the role is to increase the volume of international students in line with the set targets. You will be responsible for developing and managing the student recruitment and involving direct marketing campaigns. You will develop online digital marketing to meet the student recruitment targets and develop and manage relationships with key international education agents.
The salary package is negotiable for an experienced International Student Recruitment officer with a proven track record of success in expanding international student enrolments in a CRICOS College.

Key activities of the position:
• Develop and manage relationships with education agent partners by visiting agents regularly to educate and promote course offerings
• Develop strategies to maximize student enrolments
• Recruit international students directly by attending local education fairs / exhibitions
• Provide ongoing training, product information and relevant marketing support for education agent partners
• Gather feedback on market conditions including competitors, industry trends and opportunities to increase recruitment
• Assist with design of compliant and effective marketing collateral in accordance with ESOS requirements
• Handle incoming correspondence and marketing related enquiries from students and education agents accurately and efficiently on campus
• Assure an improving conversion rate by following up on pending offer letters weekly.
You must have:
• A great of networks and experience for International student recruitment
• Experience with onshore and offshore sales and international recruitment across a range of countries
• Ability to cope in a start-up environment
• Well-developed relationships with international education agents
• An understanding of the international education industry and visa process
• Experience in developing marketing strategies with significant strengths in digital marketing
• Marketing knowledge including and understanding of student recruitment, customer relationship management, direct marketing and sales, online marketing and social media
• Knowledge of government policy such as the ESOS Act and National Code of Practice
• Attention to detail, time management, problem solving and well developed organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills including relationship building, liaison, public speaking and written communication
