Intermediate Accountant Mandarin Speaker

Jessica's Suitcase is a fast-growing company with the head office based in Sydney. As a leader in cross-border ecommerce industry, the business connects premium Australian brands with China's online shopping community through Chinese e- platforms.

This role will provide support across a variety of duties including:
Reporting to the CFO and direct exposure to the CEO, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Inter-company invoicing, journals
- Management of the BAS returns
- Monthly payroll tax and preparation of supporting tax documents
- Month-end management including cash & non-cash journals and bank reconciliations
- Prepare budget monthly and yearly
- Monthly cash management and ad hoc reporting
- Supporting statutory reporting and financial audits
- Provide insight in ways to improve current processes
- Review monthly management accounts and explain significant variances of actual results against budget

Key Requirements:
-experienced with Xero
- Proficient in English and Chinese Mandarin
- 3-5 years accounting experience preferred, at least 2 years experience in Australia
- have sound to intermediate Knowledge using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Have a high level of personal presentation

- Interest and knowledge in China e-commerce preferred
- Show a desire, willingness and motivation to learn
