We're one of Australia's leading suppliers of construction and building materials looking for self-motivated Customer Service personnel with strong customer service skills and professional attitudes to join our expanding business. Hume is on the search for the next star Team Leader. Starting as a Customer Service staff member you will receive training and all the support you need to ensure you have the knowledge and experience to assist in organising the branch. This is a rare opportunity to join the team and be on the path for career progression from the start!

You will be working in a lively and fast paced team environment where your time management skills, helpful character and strong work ethics will make you a valued member of the team.

Duties for this role include:

 Processing customer orders using existing codes
 Generating customer order picking slips and tax invoices
 Assist customers with their enquiries
 Build and maintain strong relationship with customers
 Cash handling
 General office administration and clerical duties

The successful applicant must have the following:

 Minimum 2yr trade counter or customer service experience
 Great attention to detail and accuracy
 Excellent computer skills
 Work independently with minimal supervision
 Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
 Building products knowledge will be an advantage

This is a full-time position that requires every second Saturday weekend work and is based in several Sydney locations (Alexandria, Lakemba, Pymble, Silverwater, South Granville and Yennora).
