An motel in a small town (Tennant Creek) in Northern Territory is hiring an assistant accountant.

The immediate role tasks include:
Controlling the payroll.
Producing an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods.
Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for senior management.
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual reports.
Perform additional duties, as assigned.


You should have:
Must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with an extraordinary eye for detail.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work effectively within fixed deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excels in a team environment.
Related experience in a similar position.
